After years of neglect, Apple has finally updated the widely-beloved MacBook Air. Does this new lightweight have what it takes to keep up with ultraportables of 2018? Or is it just full of hot air? Let’s open it up and find out.
13” MacBook Pro or 13” MacBook Air? Trying to figure out if I should go for 7th or 8th generation Intel chips.
Weight over power is what makes most sense to me at the moment. Mainly as I have been using a MacBook Air since 2012 which is lighter than the current MacBook Pro’s.
Update November 18th: 13” MacBook Air with 256GB PCIe-based SSD and 16GB of 2133MHz LPDDR3 onboard memory it is.
After following the Micro.blog development for over a year or so I decided to support the product development myself and step in with starting my own Micro.blog at journal.camiel.co.
After years of playing around with WordPress I like the idea of keeping blogging simple, owning your content and not having to worry about the hosting at all.
With regards to the setup of the Micro.blog that wasn’t hard at all. Setting up the custom DNS was the most complicated part up until now. Last thing that I’m now waiting for is the update of the ssl certificate to support my custom domain. I requested it this morning so I guess that will be done soon too.
It’s going to be interesting to see where this new blogging journey will bring me.
